Kazakh Prime Minister Karim Massimov to visit USA
Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Massimov is expected in the United States on March 9-12, Kazinform has learnt from the Kazakh MFA’s press service.
In the course of the visit Kazakhstan’s Prime Minister will have negotiations with Vice President of the United States Richard B. Cheney, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, Secretary of Commerce Carlos Gutierrez, Secretary of Energy Samuel W. Bodman, Trade Representative Susan C. Schwab, members of the Congress, officials of the World Bank, International Monetary Fund, heads of the largest companies and outstanding public figures.
Bilateral Kazakhstani-American Initiative “Public Private Partnership” will be officially launched within the framework of the visit. The initiative is aimed at attracting the American investments, technologies and management standards into the non-primary sector of economy of Kazakhstan, especially infrastructure projects of national importance.
The Kazakhstani delegation to the US also includes ministers, heads of the national companies, development institutes and businessmen.
